March 13, 2006:Parker Kligerman wins the season opener for the FR1600 series
Round 1 – Saturday, March 13, 2006: At the green flag for the Formula TR Pro Series opener Luis Martinez Jr. of Kimball Williams Racing passed the pole sitter Parker Kligerman for the lead.
Parker regains the lead in the second lap only to be overtaken by Tayler Malsom with Odyssey Motorsports. Kligerman took the lead back on lap three and held the lead for the checkered flag. Malsam who was running second spun on lap four giving Martinez a chance to move to second and Liam Kenney moved to third.
Kenney got around Martinez on lap seven holding the second position on the podium with Luis Martines Jr in third.
Round 2 Makes it Two for Two for Kligerman
Round 2 – Saturday, March 12, 2006: The green flag is thrown and Parker Klingerman, driver for Paladin Motorsports, took the lead and held it until the checkered flag.
Luis Martinez Jr. sponsored by King Taco in the first lap hanging onto Tayler Malsam of Odyssey Racing attempted to pass went wide on the exit hitting the tire wall which ended his day. Tayler Malsam was in second until lap 8 when Liam Kenney of Paladin Motorsports passed to finish the race in second.
A spin by Tayler on lap 11 opens up Kristin Smutny of CT Motorsport's way to the podium where she drove clean holding off a late race charge by veteran Kerry Lynch of Gatorz.
