FONTANA, CALIF. (March 20, 2006) - Paladin Motorsports team drivers Parker Kligerman and Liam Kenney finished on the top-two podium spots in both of the first two rounds of the 2006 Formula TR Championship.
15 Year old driving sensation Parker Kligerman, of Westport, Conn., leads the Formula TR 1600 Championship with victories in the first two rounds of the 2006 season. Kligerman proved he was a strong force to be reckoned with after his first win at the California Speedway season opener. A strong follow up with a second victory on Sunday left no doubt in anyone's mind about his ability to drive and win races.
Sharing the podium with his team mate and taking the number two spot on the podium for the first two races was 14 year old Liam Kenney, of Sterling, Va. Kenney is no stranger to competition having successfully competed in the Snap On Stars of Karting series. At 14 Kenney is one of the youngest drivers in the US to make the transition from karts to cars this year. With the first two races of his professional racing career under his belt he is looking forward to many more podium finishes this year.
Kligerman and Kenney have joined the Corona, California based Paladin Motorsports racing team for the 2006 Formula TR 1600 Championship.
"We are pleased to be working with these two very talented young drivers this season." Paladin Motorsports managing partner Reza Honarvar. "Both Parker and Liam have shown they have what it takes to win races and they will be a welcome addition to our team."
Paladin Motorsports currently competes in the Formula TR 1600 and Formula TR 2000 Championships.
